Located in Franklin, NC on the Little Tennessee River, with beautiful mountain and river views right from your porch swing. Also duplex style COTTAGES across the road from the river with river views and river access.

There is a lot to do here in Oak Grove. We are located 9 miles north of downtown (Franklin, North Carolina) on 28 North. An area known for its beautiful riverfronts, mountain views and famous gem mines. We are 5 minutes away from 5 MAJOR GEM MINES. WIFI internet access is available at Oak Grove Cabins.

You can fish, swim or float down the river on a tube or raft. If you are a little more daring, you can book a white water rafting tour anywhere from Nantahala to Sylva (20 miles). Not far is The Great Smoky Mountain National Park with its lovely trails and waterfalls. Massive waterfalls grace many areas of the Highlands and Cashiers! The Cherokee Indian Reservation, Harrah's Casino, Great Smoky Railroad, wildlife viewing and hunting. You will also find golfing, horseback riding and snow skiing. readily available. Antiquing is very popular in this area and antique stores are abundant with take-home treasures.

Enjoy the above or just sit back and watch the leaves change color. This place is beautiful.

Cottages and Cabins are fully furnished with linens, full kitchens, air conditioning, Satellite/TV/DVD, CD player, microwave, gas logs, VCR, grills, fans, picnic tables, parking area and central washer & dryer, Private, but not remote, we are easily accessible.

Our authentic 1800's log cabin is just that. Originally from a small farm in Virginia, it has been refurbished with completely updated kitchen and bath ammenities. This cabin has a full kitchen and bath with a clawfoot type bathrub, living and dining area, gas logs and upstairs is a full bedroom with a queen size bed. In addition, there are 2 twin foam floor beds which children love! The porch with its lovely swing and rocker, overlooks the river and the mountains.

Perfect for honeymoon, romantic get-a-ways, or family reunions. Cottages and cabins can accommodate two to six people comfortably. Open year round. During peak season there is a two night minimum stay on weekends.

The park model log cabin is light and decorated in a wildlife motif. Two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and a smaller bedroom with a full futon. There is also an additional full futon in the living area. This cabin has a full kitchen and bath and a spacious porch with a swing and cafe table overlooking the river and great views. Picnic table and outdoor cabana make this a great place to sit and watch the river flow while getting some shade. Fish or swim from the backyard. Wonderful atmosphere, very light and airy. You'll come back again and again.

Welcome our new cabin to the Little Tennessee river. This cabin has a queen bed, full futon and a loft  (children will love) with full bed and area for sleeping bag. Dont let these pics fool you, this cabin is quite spacious inside with an extra high cieling that makes it feel even roomier. The sliding glass doors open up to a wonderful view of the Little Tennessee river. You also have a covered porch with swing and rocker. Have a cook out by the river ,or make a fire at night to toast some marshmallows and enjoy the country star lite sky..This cabin is fully furnished with everything needed for a great stay.

Our duplex cottages may not be as eye catching from the outside but inside they are spacious (1000 sq ft.) fully and comfortably furnished. One and two beds with queen sofa beds/bunk beds available. You may still enjoy the river with picnic table. Riverfront outdoor furniture area with grills and a fire pit.

This is a great place to stay when you are planning to be busy enjoying the sites. Enjoy a good nights sleep on our comfy king beds. Rent both sides for a family reunion or gathering and enjoy the adjoining gameroom. Also available for long term winter rentals at a discounted price.
